Hon. Prime Minister to attend Photo Exhibition of Samoa in 1904, and Meeting of Commonwealth Ministerial Action Group
Cabinet has approved that attendance by the Hon. Prime Minister, Tuilaepa Sailele Malielegaoi, of the Photo Exhibition of Samoa in the year 1904 to be displayed in Bochum, Germany, from the 19-20th May; and, the Meeting of the Commonwealth Ministerial Action Group, which will take place in London from the 21-22nd May 2004.
The Photo Exhibition will display photos of Samoa when it was a German colony in the year 1904. These photos are said to show the landscapes of Samoa as it was then, as well as reflections of Samoa’s customs and traditions as carried out in the past. These photos will be brought to Samoa at the end of the Photo Exhibition.
The Commonwealth Ministerial Action Group (CMAG) will meet to determine issues regarding Pakistan and Fiji. Reports on other Commonwealth countries such as the Solomon Islands that recently faced situations of conflict will also be put forward for CMAG discussion.
